About Serenity House, Inc. d/b/a/ Serenity Park From the
inauspicious beginnings in the
old YWCA building, Serenity
House moved to 2500 South
Broadway in Little Rock. For 18
years we offered residential
care for the recovering
alcoholic and drug addict. We
provided a place and a program
whereby both the recovering
person and his family could
learn a way of life that would
enable him to return to the
community sober and productive. Of the first twenty men who went through our program, nine have maintained continuous sobriety and eight others have been sober for over fourteen years. We have now treated over 30,000 men and women, and our recovery rate remains high. We treat people only one time; those who complete our program have the ability to maintain a sober way of life. The majority of the people we have treated not only remain sober but become useful in helping others find sobriety. In fact, some of the people who were once our clients are now working in the treatment field. |
