| Our Facility
Serenity Home for Women is
an 8,500-square-foot facility that stands apart from the men’s
11,600-square-foot facility. The new building has 20 beds,
common toilets and showers, a laundry room, a classroom, a
living room and counselor offices.
Serenity Home for Women was official
opened on November 16, 2007, three weeks after Joe
McQuany's passing. Serenity Home for Women is the final
piece in the tapestry of Joe's vision.
The building is bright and full of light. The women
have semi-private rooms, classrooms, counselors' offices, a
library, a fitness area, lounge and recreation area, a spacious
dining room, and a coffee shop. Our free-standing facility
with its contemporary style, its airy, open feeling suggests a
welcome and a warmth that greatly enhances the process of
recovery. |
